The Orange Pi 5 is powered by the Rockchip RK3588S, a new-generation 8-core 64-bit processor that combines quad-core A76 and quad-core A55 architectures. Crafted with an 8nm process design, it reaches up to 2.4GHz in clock speed, and includes an integrated ARM Mali-G610 GPU. This setup also features a high-performance 3D/2D image acceleration module, a built-in NPU capable of 6Tops of computing power, and memory options of 8GB (LPDDR4/4X), along with support for up to 8K display processing.

The Orange Pi 5 boasts a wide range of interfaces, including HDMI output, a GPIO interface, M.2 PCIe2.0, Type-C, a Gigabit LAN port, two USB2.0 ports, and one USB3.0 port. This makes it exceptionally versatile, finding applications in tablets, edge computing, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, AR/VR, intelligent security, smart homes, and other AIoT industries.

It also supports Orange Pi OS（Droid）, the platform's official operating system, in addition to Android12 and Debian11, broadening its utility and flexibility for various projects and applications.
