Description:

Pironman 5 MAX is a premium mini-tower case kit for the Raspberry Pi 5, designed to turn your board into a powerful and good-looking mini PC. The enclosure combines a solid aluminium frame with dark acrylic side panels, an advanced cooling system, dual M.2 NVMe support, an OLED status display, RGB lighting, and a metal power button with safe shutdown. It is ideal for NAS, RAID storage, Home Assistant, media centers, gaming setups, and AI-driven projects, while keeping everything neat and compact on your desk.

Dual NVMe and AI expansion:

• Inside the Pironman 5 MAX is a dedicated PCIe expansion board with two M.2 M-key slots, so you can add up to two NVMe SSDs (2230/2242/2260/2280) or combine an NVMe SSD with an M.2 AI accelerator such as Hailo-8L. This gives you the flexibility to build fast storage (including RAID 0/1 when supported by your software setup) or pair high-speed storage with edge AI acceleration on the same Raspberry Pi 5.

Advanced cooling system:

• The case includes a PWM-controlled tower cooler for the Raspberry Pi 5 and multiple fans, including RGB fans, to move air efficiently through the chassis. This layout is designed to cool the Raspberry Pi 5 and the installed NVMe drives under sustained load, reducing thermal throttling and keeping noise levels low. Integrated dust protection and a clean internal layout make long-term use and maintenance easier.

OLED display and lighting:

• On the front, a 0.96" OLED display provides at-a-glance system information such as temperature, CPU load and other stats once you enable the software. The display supports tap/vibration wake-up, so you can quickly check the status without attaching a monitor. Addressable RGB LEDs and RGB fans add adjustable lighting effects that you can tailor to your setup.

Enhanced functionality and safety:

• Pironman 5 MAX adds a safe shutdown circuit controlled by the metal power button, helping to protect your file system from sudden power cuts. The case is designed so that all Raspberry Pi 5 ports are easily accessible and routed cleanly, with dual full-size HDMI, USB, Ethernet and USB-C power available at the rear. It also provides an external GPIO extender for easier access to the pin header, an IR receiver for remote control, and RTC battery support for accurate timekeeping.
