The EDATEC ED-Pi5Case-EXT is a robust all-metal enclosure designed for the Raspberry Pi 5 and additional HAT modules. Its extended design provides enough space for accessories such as the Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ while also supporting installation of the Raspberry Pi Active Cooler.

The enclosure combines a powder-coated sheet-metal top cover with an aluminium profile bottom section. Thermal pads transfer heat from the Raspberry Pi to the metal enclosure, allowing the case itself to provide additional passive cooling and helping maintain stable operating temperatures.

All essential Raspberry Pi 5 interfaces remain accessible, including USB, Ethernet, HDMI, microSD card slot, power input, ON/OFF button and PWR/ACT indicator.

The case also includes dedicated cable slots and mounting points for a Raspberry Pi Camera, making it particularly suitable for industrial, commercial, AI, machine-vision and embedded applications.
